I wonder if some of this shouldn’t lay at Earle Bruce’s door? His grandson right? Prolly had some influence in him getting hired, right? Maybe step in and tell Urban do what you gotta do! I know the wife said he and his wife came down to step in and counsel but if it continued he should have seen the predicament Urban was in. At least I’d think so.

IMO it shouldn't lay at anyone's door other than the offender. And after hearing his woman speak I don't really blame him. Lol

I agree Bro.... what a sad sad world we live in today. Wife beaters, child molesters and all other POS need to be dealt with that’s for sure, but for UM to assume responsibility for another’s doing is Bullshit! IMO

The issue in question is not about the domestic violence or who is responsible for that. It's about if Urban knew that it was happening and tried to cover it up in order to keep him as a coach.

Read an article this morning that included interviews with Zach's mom as well as Courtney's mom. Both said she has been plotting this for years. She has told them personally that she would take Zach down. They also said that several of the abuse allegations were simply him picking her up and moving her to the side so he could go to work. One was when he grabbed her wrist and lifted her and moved her to the side. I am starting to believe there is a good reason that he has never been charged in any of the investigations. If he did indeed do it then he should pay the price.

As for UM. I have read reports that he did make higher ups aware of the 2015 situation. If he did then it should now be on them. If that ends up not being true then he needs to own it.

My only issue with that is if all the domestic violence allegations end up being BS then how does that change the situation. Is UM still obligated to have reported it? I think by his contract he is.

And let’s remember this is an outstanding must have on staff coach with a stellar longstanding career! 😂😂😂😂

This dude plain and simple was tried out because he was EB grandson, imo. Lol

Jon, plus let’s say he was at fault and turned his head to keep this POS on his staff for EB’s sake even though this tool is a dime a dozen and he is accountable and fired as he should be. His career SHOULD be over as a coach, IMO. Any team that would come after him would be saying what he did was acceptable and not a big friggin deal, am I right? Or is there a time limit that puts him back on the market?!? If there is then still, he should be off limits and banned for life as a coach ANTWHERE! Right?!?!

Some of you guys are looking at this the wrong way. In a normal, average work setting, this isnt a boss's problem. But Urban is the face, the highest paid state employee, head of a billion dollar business. He signs paperwork saying he will report any knowledge, or suspicion of violence or anything close to it. If its found out he didnt, he is in deep shit. And its fairly obvious to anyone not wearing scarlett and grey glasses that he was part of the coverup in Florida. Then he brings the guy in with him to OSU, and he does it again. And Zach Smith is a helluva recruiter, which is why he is on staff.

IMO, Urban is gone. This whole independent committee is just going over things to make sure the language in Meyers contract is satisfied in regards to termination. There is $39 million at stake.

What if he did report it though? Then what?
He’s still gone...you can’t come back from what social media has already done. They will dig until they’re satisfied. Already guilty in so many peoples eyes...truth doesn’t matter at this point. Damn Russians at it again...

I don't think its social media so much as the university might say. "Look we can't prove anything, but we can't disprove it either and to the public looks like you're guilty. If we stand behind you without being able to disprove it then we look like we're covering it up too. We don't want any doubt so you're gonna have to leave."

I can’t disagree with that. Either way, he’s done, no coming back from this. One way road...start looking for a replacement. I can almost see Jim harboughs hard on from here...

Ryan, I agree if he did in fact break his contract and there is no denying it he will be gone. You seem to be really certain he did based on info you’re getting.
Like I said before as well as others have said, I’M waiting till it’s all out and over.
