A local gun shop posts their new inventory on Facebook every Friday night. This week there was a Steven’s 301 20 gauge turkey gun in the ad. By Saturday morning I couldn’t take it and messaged him. I picked it up yesterday. When I was there I asked if he had a second one. He didn’t but ordered one for me. Two grandsons, I need 2 guns.

I saw that on their FB page and smiled knowing I had one in the safe. Fun little gun and has quickly become my favorite squirrel gun!

For the money they are hard to beat. Like Jesse I have used mine squirrel hunting as well. Topped it off with a scope. Only downside is the 20 gauge TSS shells are expensive for turkey.

They shoot well with lead. I use that for squirrels. TSS shells are about $10 a piece now. No way I am shooting one of them at a bushytail. LOL. Bad enough to kill a turkey that I don't even care that much to eat.

The TSS loads in 9 shot are devastating. I will pay the extra money. I want to see them flopping and those loads are the best.

I've not had any trouble making them flop with lead.I'm needing the sight, I can't see as well as I used to.

I use heavy shot in my 20 gauge. Performs well but I’d like to try it with TSS, the outrageous cost is making me hesitate.
