Birdfeeder Visitor

I looked out the kitchen window yesterday and saw this ringneck eating at the bird feeder. It’s been a couple years since I’ve seen a pheasant, cool to see and hope they’re making a come back in my area.

That's very cool. What county is this? Are you anywhere near State land or a shooting preserve, or do you think this is really a wild bird?

Very cool!

All they need is a place to live with enough cover to hide from the countless predators.

Northwest Ashtabula county. There isn't any state stocked lands or preserves close to me and I don't know of anyone near me raising any birds other than chickens so I'm hopefully confident it was a wild bird.
