I'm expecting another increase right around deer season and harvest time.

Something else thats inexpensive, if you have sources to oaks or apples, this thing works great. They have tighter wired ones too that you can use to get smaller stuff like acorns. It efficient as hell on apples though.

They're jacking up prices trying to hedge the shortfall after Trump slapped new tariffs on China and China retaliated by halting grain import from the US. China is the third-largest purchaser of US grain behind Canada and Mexico.

The market is about to be sitting on a massive surplus of grain with low prices. they're jacking up prices on existing grain to be able to sit on the cheaper grain longer. Simple market hedging.

They’re also expecting a lot less corn to be produced this year due to all the rain in the spring.

Yes, I need that. Thanks for bringing it up on here. There's mass acorns all over on my mom's grave. Had to pick it up by hand and got two grocery bags full of it. There was still more to pick up, but fugg, lol.

They were, but the USDA revised their total yield estimate for corn on Monday to only be 3.9% off last year's total yield. This caused corn prices to plummet from $4.10 to $3.59 in 3 days. Couple that with the Chinese halting imports and the writing is on the wall that bins and farmers will be sitting on a massive surplus of cheap corn come harvest. Sellers are going to gouge consumers on existing grain to hedge against the future downturn.

I hadn’t seen the revised number. I know the corn around my house was in desperate need of that rain yesterday. I also know that NW Ohio is still sitting on a lot of open fields.
