What sold me on it between the Sig P365 were the rear sites. The Hellcat is on the right and for me, those sites feel very intutive because they're "peep-site-esque" IMO. Although I liked the trigger on the Sig slightly better, the Hellcat trigger is similar to those on my Glock and Taurus, so there's familarity with that style of trigger and feel is super important as we all know. The Hellcat grip is better suited for big hands, which is an issue for me with XXL hands when it comes to micro 9mms. I originally put an Olight Baldr Mini on it and didn't like how it protruded off the front, so I'll save it for another gun. The Streamlight TLR 6 is a perfect fit and having both the light and laser is pretty sweet.

I’ve got a 365 and hate the sights. For one they’re radioactive and are dim AF. Secondly I’m color blind and the green doesn’t cut it. I’m replacing them at some point. Other than that…Sig for the win.

Our annual 4-H endowment dinner is always full of guns and I've bought two in the past, including the "matching" Savage .17HMR to the B22 that I bought this year. I picked up a Vortex 3x9-40 with the V-Brite illuminated reticle on sale a while back for future builds, so it was a natural pairing. This thing will be a tack driver and a squirrel slayer!

Finally sighted this thing all the way in. She was "pop can good" but not ready for head shots on squirrels. I have a couple new squirrel recipes I want to try, so I figured I better be able to hit one first! I'd like to find some better ammo than what I've stockpiled as I had a couple duds in this batch, including a flub that made it 10 yards (brand new batch of Winchester varmint), but it'll do for now. Last 2 groups at 25 off the bi-pod.

Disappointing for new ammo. That would make me nervous. Be careful. It is a beautiful piece.

.22 ammo really has taken a nose dive in quality in the past 5 years. CCI mini mag is on par with what the bulk stuff was quality wise in years past. The bulk stuff now a days is really trashy. I would estimate there is probably a defective round every 1 in 100. Velocities are all over the place, piss poor cartridge crimps, inconsistant primers, and i have even seen holes in the brass. They are clearly producing the stuff as fast as the horders can buy it.
I only shoot cci and eley match anymore.

CCI is all I ever relied on. Did buy what I could during the shortage and don’t rely on any of it other than plinking.

It has 13 stamped on the barrels which I think makes it a 12 gauge. I don’t know much about the gun and was hoping to learn more. It is ok shape and I have done is use gun cleaner and oiled it.

it will soon hanging under the mantle in the new house.

Cool had not even thought to look up Purdey, he made some amazing improvements.

his patent bolt 1104 is dated May 2, 1863.

pretty amazing how tight the action is and the shape it is in for a 151 year old gun.

Nice early gun, amazing it's stayed in the family! It was proofed in Birmingham for Black Powder. It was proofed as a 13 gauge. If the chambers are opened to 12 it is out of proof. Chambers are very likely 2 1/2". So I wouldn't shoot it until a gunsmith that knows British guns looks it over.

This Swedish m38 is quickly becoming one of my favorite rifles. 6.5x55mm has always been one of my favorite rounds. Its a nice old gun; 1899 receiver, nice wood, nice sights, nice trigger. Shoots very tight.

I just collect them and shoot them. I don't get out to shoot near as much as I used to so I'm trying to build my "wood" collection. The black ones don't get touched that often anymore.
