Well, about to be game on. It's looking like this weekend will kick off my hunting season. I got my dad rolling in the following weekend, so I've been keeping busy getting shit together.

I been shooting lights out with the recurve the past week. Took a bit to get my strength back, but I've been pleasantly surprised as to how quick I picked it back up after not shooting since last year.

I haven't been running cams/corn and haven't been in the woods hardly at all. Keeping things simple and hopeing for some good 'surprises'.

About to be my favorite month of the year! Giddy up

Had a good little buzz after dinner and drinks last night and let a couple fly when I got home. Should have stopped after the first one from about 20 yards. Confidence is up. That squash or whatever that thing is has been asking for one for a while

Good shootin Gordo!!! What head you shootin again?

That was a judo point that put the hurt on the squash. Love those babies for practicing.

As of now, I'm rolling with old school zwickeys for hunting.

Once I get some cash I'll prob throw down on some Magnus Stinger Buzz Cuts. They performed well on the doe I shot last year. I also want to try those heads that Brian is rolling with one of these days.

Not planning on shooting past 20 yards on a deer, so as long as it's got a nice edge and I do my job, should be game over
