I’m sure plenty of hours have been spent looking out that door...maybe that’s why it was never covered. Enjoy what it has to offer with a the glass view.

I'm not getting much done these days other than PM and daily ops. I could probably spend less time leaning on the gate in the evenings, but I like the view. Chores and projects will get done when they get done...

Just living life fellers. Ain't worked on shit but basic upkeed most of the year. With the girls, dogs, and 30+ birds in the barn, it's hard to inch forward. I've got a good speaker and a mini fridge in here, but it needs gutted and reconfigured. Gotta get this tractor out too. 1956 Ford 600 that I inherited along with the 2001 Honda Rancher. The quad still runs like a top. The tractor, not so much. Even though this space is a mess, I know some day I'll tame it and it'll be just right. I spend a lot of time here enjoying the sun rise and set since I have good views of both. I wish I could say I helped build this, but the weekend we started it, I suffered a severe concussion in football and spent 2 weeks in bed. Dad basically built this alone without me. 24x36 barn for show cattle converted to storage shed and chicken coop!

Been stagnant around here until this week. I'm finally tackling the garage revitalization project and they started the roof today. 8 guys rolled in for 6.5 hours and tore off the front, including gutters and downspouts, replaced the roof and added 6" seamless gutters with leaf guard. Back tomorrow to finish up. Meanwhile, I'm making progress too.

After cleaning gutters this afternoon, I’m getting some leaf guard added here shortly.
My garage is a blank tapestry currently and I’ll be looking at what you’re doing for some ideas as well.
The garage door is missing about a foot and a half of seal as well... What happens too those things? 😂😂😂

The mice chew the corners out and come and go as they please. I’ve replaced one seal already and it needs it again. I just installed some new door sweeps on my barn. They’re supposed to be mouse proof. Rubber filed with stainless steel wool. That’s what I get living in the middle of the woods.

Roof and gutters are done. Their crew really got after it! I had to get in the attic today to unhook the old attic fan so they could remove it, replace the sheeting, then shingle over that spot. Since I had the attic opened up, I went ahead and got my ceiling fans installed. When you park a hot vehicle in here in the summer, it gets hot. The dogs sleep in here, so I wanted to be able to move some air, as well as help the lighting. I bought some 100W LED bulbs for the fans and the single bulb fixtures on the other side. The lighting is definitely improved and with the fans on high, it'll get things cooled down nicely in here.

I bought these remodel-specific ceiling fan braces and have to say, their the cat's ass. For $7, I'm very pleased. My only beef is there's a little slop on the junction box bracket, but it doesn't show in the fans, even when on high. So it's really not a huge deal.

We have a bunch of can lights inside. Good call @"J" !
They sell a contractors pack down here, like a dozen of them for about a 1/3 of the price off of them.
They sell a 6” hole saw for the drill that makes quick work of them from the looks of it. Drill, install the lights, go above and run your wires.
I’m picking up one of the ceiling fan brackets as well as I’m adding a fan above where the boat sits. Will aid in drying it out.

Looks awesome buddy! Lil tip for next time. Undo that brace and flip it over before installing. Makes it a shitload easier to do in the attic. Especially when the box is up against a truss like that. Never understood why they make the nail/screw points below the bar.
