Public in Kentucky is good. A lot of walking and still hunting, but haven’t had an issue shooting a mature buck annually, at least for the past ten years. Just wondered if the hunting is comparable in Ohio.

I’m assuming the Wayne in split up into private areas as well, unlike the big continuous area of SSF

How is the pressure in both areas that late in the season? Main food sources? Best access points?

Looking for 140” or bigger. Either December 21 or 22. Or late season muzzleloader.

Any success pics from either area??

Don’t live there, I live in eastern ky, hunted there years ago with little success. Both areas are about the same distance from me. Just wondered if Wayne national could possibly better for quality of bucks.

Shawnee state forest or Wayne ironton for chance at a quality buck this upcoming season?
