    Yep, live in Wilmington but leases are mainly clubs that dog hunt. Land is primarily swamp bays and pines with thick cover so box blinds and baiting into narrow openings with small deer seems to be the thing. No 200 lb midwest deer for sure. Middle of the state is more hardwoods and bigger...

    interesing that eastern NC has the biggest black bear in US. Several killed just over 800 lbs. Many in 500-700 range each year. Hunts range from $2500 to 10K. Watch some charge a $10 lb trophy fee for over 400 lbs.
