    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

Understood critter, but if that was his thought process, is it OK or right of that guy to lie and allow a whole road/general area to be affected or bought up like your saying? 4 miles away? How many hunters would that affect? A lot! And for no reason. I don't want that happening in my area or on...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

OK hicks, re-read, many on here were asking where it was shot and trying to find out the story. And werent getting far, other than stark county. so, myself, Bobbie, and now another has joined to share our local knowledge of a beast of a deer and the buzz surrounding it. It just sucks some buzz...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

And yes Bobbie and his buddy who found the sheds (who I don't know either of them) would know more than me about the deer. They have cams in the area and way more pics than most. So maybe they can chime in to how very very very 99.99999999% unlikely this buck would end up on my road 4 miles away...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

And slam your missing my point!. EVERYONE already knew where that buck has lived for YEARS!! he's not a secret. So saying (lying) about where you shot him when people already know that's not true is only asking for people to question you. It just so happens, that he lied about the wrong road...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

My proof is I live on the road it was said to be killed. Noone on my road even knows who this guy is that I've talked to. And its 3-4 miles crossing a busy highway 2-3 other busy roads, new developments, a mall, and various other obstacles.(from where he's known to live for 3-5 years). There's...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

And slam, I get the whole if I killed a monster I wouldn't tell anyone theory. But you have to realize this buck was WELL KNOWN. Its not some buck only 3-5 hunting buddies were chasing. Most people interested in the hunting story behind it locally already knew its whereabouts. That's why I see...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

Yes his buddy posted it. And bore, no sore feelings. Just knowing that buck wasn't killed on my road 3-4 miles away made me question other things. Where there's one lie, there's usually more.IMO. And I don't know mike that well personally, but I wouldn't think he would take down a buck like...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

I ask this because if he's under investigation would they make social media posts of that deer be taken down? Because runzos leaves pics of deer up for years! Didn't know if it was coincidence or what.

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

I'm not trying to pile on to the man either. As I hope this deer was taken legally. But if any of you are familiar with runzos, his story was posted first there, comments came flying in on there, as well as ones saying they saw that buck the night before in his city limit area(I understand he...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

No bore. I do not hunt that area. As I stated before I've seen this deer as well as many others in a very rich city limit setting where I would often drive just to look at deer. That's all. No jealousy here. I never thought about hunting him. I assumed he always stayed in that area he knew was...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

Yes from alliance. And that's my whole point of even posting on this thread I guess. I'm in no way jealous. Just curious as to why he would lie of shooting a deer in a location that a lot of people know he is not there.
  12. A

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

And to my knowledge. The TC pics of him would put him out of city limits. He may have been shot there. If so GREAT! But this deer was not killed where it was originally said 3-4 miles away from that area.

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

And hicks, not in a park. A city limits area where deer are commonly watched. Here's order of what I'm saying. 1.Deer shot. Story claims shot on x road 3-4 miles south of town.(my road) 2. Day before deer shot, hunter who killed deer had a friend who spotted and posted on fb that he saw...
  14. A

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

No. No one is saying it was poached. The deer has been seen 1. In a very city limits area where deer are commonly seen. 2. A couple roads just north of that. Maybe a half mile or so. ( that I know of). The story was this deer was killed 3-4 miles south of there.(where he has lived his whole...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

OK, I am NOT saying he did anything wrong. I'm simply pointing out the flaws in the original story and speculating my own local opinion on the rest. That's all. I'm giving info that "YOU GUYS " asked for in the beginning of the thread. Although I'm not giving exact street names and a location...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

And people speculate yes. Sometimes for no reason. And by people across the state who have no knowledge of the deer. But in this case, there are locals who know this deer. And holes in the story (or lack there of). So I'm simply stating my opinion and that of other locals. So you non locals know...

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

Absolutely a deer can and will move 3 miles, but in my opinion a buck of this age and smarts and a big home area that is uninterrupted and at this late in the year?? I find that hard to believe. Especially if you knew the area and seen a map of where he would have to travel .
  18. A

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

Yes. I live on one of the two roads he originally was said to be shot just south of town.

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

My brother in-law saw that buck laying in the field approximately a week before he showed up dead.

    Stark County late season GIANT!!!!!!!!

Yes Bobbie this deer was photographed the prior year. I watched him sit in a field as 5 cars stopped and people were getting out of their vehicles to take pictures. I tried to get a pic but the police scooted the cars along and the buck got up and slowly walked in the bushes. I used to drive his...
