    Ok i just knew it did matter with other animals in the same family. I have ate many groundhogs but only in the late fall/winter

    I have some groundhogs to trap my question is can they be eaten any time of the year or like other animals (squirrel and rabbits) should you wait till after a frost due to warbles.

    I have made a few calls and found taxidermist seem to pay more. One fur buyer told me he would not take coyotes even for free and would charge me a fee to dispose of the fur.

    Thanks for all the comments. Trapping is something I have wanted to get into for a while. Skinning animals was always a challenge for me but I just need more practice.

    I am thinking about getting my fur takers permit this year. My question is when selling furs do I have to skin the hide or can I bring in the whole animal. Second are coyote pelts worth anything. I talked to a buyer a couple years ago and he said they were not worth and thing and would not take...
