This will be my go to while I try and cut weight. I prefer beer, but it represents too many empty calories. This stuff with a splash of lime juice and Sprite Zero will need to suffice 6 days out of 7.

10th mountain bourbon, its a young bourbon and while it has hints of greatness it doesn't have the depth of flavor that others on its price point do. The reference to the military is nice but not enough (his grandfather was in the 10th mtn div so no direct military connection) to get me to buy another bottle.

I’m going on record that I don’t drink too often….maybe 2-3 times per week….sometimes a week break in between. Today I was working in the garage organizing some stuff I won at an auction yesterday and I poured myself a glass of Elijah Craig bourbon with a couple ice cubes and some Canada Dry ginger ale…ended up pouring a couple more. Filled the glass half way with bourbon and the rest was ice/ginger ale. Right now I am feeling pretty good. I “tie one on” maybe once a year and I guess today is the day. Eating dinner (pork loins that I cooked on the Traeger earlier this week) now then I’m going back out to the bar in the garage and finishing the job. The wife is up for drinking TOO so this old man may “get some” tonight….but probably not.😂😂

We just got back from grocery shopping, the majority of the beer in peoples carts were Yeungling heavy and flight…..
Are you baiting me to talk about grocery shopping? And the amount of money it takes to feed a family nowadays? Because I think it deserves its own thread. $200+ a week is not good.
