Been seeing this alot all over on Instagram. How you guy hold the bass? If you don't hold it up the right way, that it most likely will be dead once it goes back in the water? I saw this picture of a guy holding the bass from Instagram. What are you thoughts?

Fishing at optimist club , I'm always catching bass there. Last year, I was on fire, whether the water was too high, shallow, or normal. This year started off really slow. Dont really know what's going on. We're starting to have more new members fishing this year than last year. They would bring their friends and kids. I'm not there to see how they're holding the bass. So, I don't know.

I’ll eat the hell out of bass! Good eats
I've never eaten one. Anytime I'd catch one, I'd release it back in the water. That way it'll get bigger. Never really cross my mind about taking it home to eat it. I could just fish all day long trying to find bigger one out there.

Ever fish a pond with every bass being 12-14”? If you really want to make bigger bass, start eating some out of that pond. The fish are stunted and can’t grow any bigger. Releasing it to grow bigger is like not inhaling the one hitter. Proper pond management includes the harvest of fish.

Depending on where I'm fishing, I make a determination whether or not they come home with me, which usually depends on legal or decent size for the area and/or much like most any other game conservation, to help the population of either that species or others.

Much of my wife's family weren't fish eaters until I've done some fish fries for them. Now they're nuts about it. If they know I have fish in the freezer, I can expect them to be over for a fish dinner anytime soon thanks to the wife letting them know

Sure I have caught every bass 12-14" there until I caught a bigger one, then another day I caught even bigger one. I'm like holy shit, yeah! See the bass next to my shoe.

And if you wish to make your life any easier when skinning fish, get yourself one of these vintage'Townsend' fish skinners cause they are the cat's meow when you have plenty of them to do.

I've had a few of them over the years and I just recently bought me another one cause I lost my last one through our last move apparently.

They make electric ones nowadays 'TOO'!
