https://www.sportsmensalliance.org/news/sportsmens-alliance-to-host-full-draw-film-tour/

Join the Sportsmen’s Alliance on Sept. 20 at The Drexel Theatre in Columbus, Ohio, for a night of bowhunting adventure for screaming bulls, giant whitetails and monster mule deer. Not only will the Sportsmen’s Alliance Full Draw Film Tour presented by Lowe Equipment Company feature the most awesome hunting films in existence, but also great prizes from Rocky Boots, ALPS OutdoorZ, Vortex Optics and others!

For 40 years, the Sportsmen’s Alliance has protected and advanced hunting, fishing and trapping in all 50 state legislatures, state and federal court and at the ballot box when animal-rights activists attack those traditions.

Time: Doors open at 6 p.m., film starts at 7 p.m.
Location: The Drexel Theatre, 2254 E. Main Street, Columbus, OH 43229
Tickets: $12 and can be purchased by clicking here!

Raffles, door prizes, beer and snacks! Don’t miss out, buy your $12 ticket and enjoy a night of hunting films while helping to protect your passion from attacks by the anti-hunting and animal-rights movements!

Shawn, are they going to have more venues around the state in the future?

Definitely J. We just need volunteers to help run those events. We will have one in Wisconsin this fall and possibly a few other states this spring. There are rumors of a chapter program starting, but until then if you know of anybody in NE Ohio that would like to help host an event we should talk. : )

I’ve seen mention of this “sportsman alliance” group a few times....probably about time to look into it a little more.

https://www.sportsmensalliance.org

You can start here, but feel free to shoot any questions my way. The organization is based in Ohio (founded here in late 70’s) but works nationally on hunting, fishing and trapping issues. In short, the Sportsmen’s Alliance fights anti-hunting and animal rights groups in the legislature, the court and at the ballot box.

Appreciate the info & the idea!

I texted my younger brother shortly after you posted this earlier today who's also a big archery hunter like myself that lives on the opposite side of town. It would be of equal driving distance for the both of us to go ahead and meet up at the theater to watch the film.

He's totally into it as am I. What a great excuse to get together before the season kicks off.

Thanks again for sharing!

I’m totally into this. Especially since it’s about 15 minutes from the house lol. @Wildlife are you and your brother for sure going? Would be cool to meet up

That's the plan at the moment. Yes, it would be cool to meet up!

I placed it in my calendar and set to remind me a few days prior, so I'll let you know for sure that week if anything changes.

It's on my youngest son's birthday that day, but we intend on celebrating it that weekend when he has the time away from his college classes.

Not just for you, but for any others that may possibly be interested...

Huntervationist

Sportsmen’s Alliance members have the biggest impact on our ability to protect and advance the outdoor heritages of hunting, fishing and trapping. As the leading organization focused on sportsmen’s issues, we work exclusively for sportsmen in state legislatures, in the court room and at the ballot box. That’s who we are and what we do, and when we win, you win.
To continue growing our membership base, Sportsmen’s Alliance Business Partners have kicked in an impressive list of prizes new, renewing and upgrading members can win through the 2018 Huntervationist promotion. By reactivating your membership you will be eligible to win products from Vortex, Mathews, ALPS OutdoorZ, Girls with Guns and others!

When you join or renew, we’ll send you a hat, shirt or hoodie as a thank you for your commitment to protecting hunting, fishing, and trapping throughout the united States.

I agree with @Isaacorps (very nice to meet you TOO by the way)

Super cool event and thank you @Curran along with all the others that made it happen!

Both my brother & nephew really enjoyed themselves, along with myself.

I even ended up winning one of the raffle off prizes.

(A Vortex Ball Cap & A Vortex 6 x 22 1800 Series Rangefinder).
