That's how you start the season! Congrats all around Mike. Your daughters bird is very unique and a Boone and Crockett freaking turkey!

From what I can find she now holds the State record for a turkey taken by a female hunter in Ohio and number 31 nationally. I scored it at 101.125. She said what does that score mean? I said it's like a 250" buck. If I understand correctly she just needs to fill out the paperwork and have 2 NWTF members verify it.

BTW: her bird won't wake you up in the mornings now...he was your neighbor.

1 1/4" and 1 1/8" spurs (super thick)

That bird would rank number 9 in Ohio, that's all methods of hunting, male and female hunters, that's impressive!!
