You guys still at it?? It's slow for me right now. But I'm staying positive going in to this weekend. I'll be out all day Saturday for sure.

It's been a rough year for me. A lower back problem and my moonlighting job. All the Toms I've seen was 60-80 yds. away. Had a 40 yd. shot at a Jake but passed on it then nothing for weeks.

Today I'm in the side yard and getting my sprayer ready for spraying Roundup on my food plot. I look up and a Tom and 2 Jakes are going across my back yard. I ran in and got my Rem 1100 and dropped a long beard Tom in his tracks at 40 yds.

So if no one objects to my harvest tactics I'll enter it in the contest. It's a legal harvest bird.

everyone on the team made a contribution, it was a great team effort. I guess we have cotty to thank for this win, guess those Mathews bows aren't worth a crap for killing turkeys.
