Well, I didn't get us any points but I saw and had shots on 6 does/fawns, and had a small 6 pt come in to the decoy.
I let all the does walk because they came in pretty quick an kept looking up the hill behind them....couldn't bring myself to shoot not knowing what was behind them. When the first 2 saw the decoy, the lead doe hesitated, checked the wind and walked right out. I mean, perfect broadside shot at 15,10, and finally at 5 yards! Had the same shots on every doe. Came to full draw 3 times on the last fawn but decided not to shoot. Great morning on stand.

Nothing fancy tonight, I'm sitting100 yds from my house trying to kill any antlerless deer so I can get my 4 yr old in on a recovery. The last 2 nites they've been here . We'll see if they make it 3 .

Had a less than stellar camera check until we got to the mock scrape cam. Let's just say there's a new sheriff in town! Can't wait to see if we can get him on the ground!

Vacation starts the 3rd....lookin pretty promising! Headin out tomorrow morning, and evening with my daughter. Will be her first time out (not hunting).

Fast start to the morning, crazy chasing until 9:00. At one point had 10 deer within 15 yards of me. I picked a doe out and just started pulling when I heard crashing behind me along with grunts. I couldn't and didn't ever lay eyes on whatever it was because it stayed in the thicket behind me.

Any luck guys? I'm hoping we get the weekend off and they give me my vacation day on Monday. Working 4 tens so that would give me a 4 day weekend and lots of time to hunt!
6 point shot this morning. Saw him from 75 yards and I doe bleated, he came in on a string. He'll put some meat in the freezer! Sorry I didn't get a tape on him, not much to measure anyway.

Damn guys, I am feeling the pressure now! Congrats agin to all of you and Bigslam, the old adage "you can't eat those antlers" still holds true. Anytime you put a deer down with a bow it's a good feeling. Enjoy it man! And Carpn....yeah you got a good one!

Well , I screwed up . I dropped him off at the taxi and forgot to take pictures of the measuements needed . I've got themeasurements written down , I just didn't take pictures of them . Sorry team . He had a 21" beam , 16"" inside spread , 4.75" bases and ten points . I also had about 50 trailcam pics of him .

Congrats on filling the antlerless tag.... See I told you too put the corn on the plate.... hahaha.... Back straps on the BBQ....
