I have steel toe double H gel ice that are my "work boots" for the shop floors and then I have 2 pairs of Justin's for Fridays at corporate. Mon-Thurs is more "fancy"...

Square toed steel toes. Perfect. Joe is turning 19yrs old this year. Lol. Every high school senior and recent HS grad I have working for me wears these. They all wannabe country boys. If I could get them to work as hard as they want to act like hard workers. . .

Been kicking around getting a pair of comfortable pull on boots, my go to have been the desert combat boots up to this point (always stick with what's easy) but have tried on some and they just don't feel very comfortable initially and I'm not a favor of breaking in boots lol...

A nice pair of boots can be worn with slacks and a buttondown too. They have to be clean and on the high end of the boot spectrum though like ostrich. I did pick up a pair of Bass Cap Toe Oxford yesterday though.

Those arent steeltoed. If you're hiring kids wearing 250 dollar boots to do lawncare that's your first mistake. Lol.

The work force is weak right now. IF there are high school kids who actually WANT to work. . . I will offer them an opportunity. Sometimes our mission in life is not about dollars, or jobs, or ourselves. Sometimes our mission is to offer direction, positive examples, and a father figure to some youth who are trying to find their place in the world. If we are willing to do so, we will be rewarded in many ways. This is an entirely different thread topic though.

This summer I've seen a group of young men who want to be old school cool. They simply don't have the opportunities. Once they are in the position of being able to earn a dollar in a manual labor environment. . .they need a push. I'm fortunate to offer this to them. Some kids simply need thir parents to cut the strings and figure things out on their own. Quit pampering them. Let them realize the value of the dollar. Let them sweat and bleed and get some blisters. .it's good for them.

Sorry for the derail.
