But that means corn doesn't come off until thanksgiving week as well... He's all about the schedule lol
The farmer that got his beans in late already cut the corn for silage. Still a couple hundred acres of it to the south of me though and that farmer isn't a slacker.

This one goes by calendar dates and pretty much sticks to them minus the weather that maybe overhead....

This is a great time of year to give yourself a few extra minutes of travel time. Also a great time to slow down and enjoy the commute. Roads are used by slower vehicles this time of year and lots of animals seeking new refuge. Leaving a couple minutes early could save you from unneeded anger/anxiety. After that rain last week, I suspect this week will be "go-time" all over the state.

120 days later and it has started its drying process...3 weeks and I'm guessing we will be seeing combines on the roads and in fields.

Seen a Silage set up hauling down the road last week.
