Deer will eat pumpkins. Not saying they will draw them, but I have seen them eat them out of the garden. Usually late in the fall. They bust them open and then eat them.

Huh. I even went back out there and busted some of them up thinking they just weren't getting it. Nada.

Yeah. Who knows. Might be an area thing. Kinda like brassicas. I've grown some sort of them for the last 5 years and have no stopped because the deer just don't eat them here. We'll see come fall!

Pumpkins are an area thing, east us down around Pittsburgh they can’t grow pumpkins because the deer hit em hard. Around us they could care less and will walk on by them busted open or not.
OhioSam’s place should be a Mecca for deer if they loved pumpkins...
