Sorry boys, not in the mood to write a big post tonight. Gonna continue to drink beer with Michael and reflect on the year. Seen 22 deer this evening, no shots fired. Living the dream...

Well everyone...it’s over.
I didn’t see a deer tonight, Michael seen deer all evening. No shots fired, everything was out of range.
To wrap this up in one word, success. Thanks for following us this week. Hunted hard and enjoyed the hell out of it. Thanks again Jake!

Alright, maybe a little write up on this evenings hunt.
Snow was melting in a hurry but it made for a real easy sneak in. In the stand enjoying listening to the distant sounds of beagles, all was good inside this soul. Every now and then a couple gun shots as they came closer and closer. Even got close enough that you could hear the guy coaching them hounds. Music to my ears...really was peaceful and gave me that warm fuzzy feeling. Other people out enjoying a beautiful thing. I truly don’t understand how some people get upset over other people hunting while they are. Good for them!
Someone was also rabbit hunting on the other side of us. No dog, but I heard multiple shots from different areas. Good for those folks TOO!

Long time ago I was hunting with a buddy from work. We was walking up and down the hill. We wanted to find a spot. This was out in public land. Anyway..... We walked up top of the hill and accidently bumped into two guys that were trying too hunt. We said sorry as we passed them by ....well they shot their shotguns up in the air toward us they was pissed. I wasn't too happy about it. We never came back. It wasnt like we did it on purpose.

Thanks man. I'm not greedy when it comes to hunting. I really enjoy seeing others be successful. Or at least have the chance.
The place is pretty hard to hunt with a bow. Even with all the deer that are there. Dave seems to have enjoyed himself so I'm happy.
