Lucky Buck mineral sites

I deployed my latest Lift this morning & decided to check on my Lift 2 while there. I established a new mineral lick for it & have the cam in video mode. Overall, I like the cam. I haven't tested it in pic mode, just video. One thing I hate is the password entry. For some dumb reason, the screen has white numerals on a orange background. It's harder than hell to see the numbers with my eyes. The date stamp is odd. I may be wrong, but there might be a month & day fugg up, so next time out I'll have to change it.

I'm learning here that my bil mows more than I imagine, at least the logging trails are easy to walk. He also mows than entire gas line right of way.

These pics are from my original Lifts. I received the Lift 2 the other day. There was a somewhat long delay for the pre production orders, so Exodus offered those a $50 gift card, & I ordered another original Lift. It's arriving tomorrow. I still really like the originals. I had the time today to go out & clear a few trails with the chainsaw, so I deployed that one today ... which means I gotta go back out with tomorrow's arrival. I'm starting a few more mineral licks for these new cams to get a better feel for the bucks since I don't know their travel routes that well. I just couldn't give a yes or no answer....lol

I've found that mineral sites will alter travel patterns in the summertime. But, most deer revert to different travel patterns come fall and have no need to travel the summertime trails.

Since I've deployed my feeders, I hesitated on starting a new thread for that, so I'll include those pics with my Lucky Buck thread. I went back out today to move some cams. I hesitated checking one of my feeder cams, but I couldn't resist since I had a totally new buck parading back & forth the other day. Well, he discovered my feeder. Since today is Patriot Day, I'm naming him Patriot Buck. Mr piggy spent a good hour at the feeder . The first pic, he's with a buck I've been calling Flip Flop since his antlers are just that ....
