Late season!

Here we go! Season is drawing to a close. I hope everyone has enjoyed the time with mother nature and if you were able to knock one down well then that makes it all worth it!!

Little update, I went out last thursay and put out 400 pounds of corn and put out cameras. Hopefully when I go back Friday and refeed I'll have an idea where and what time the deer are moving. With projected temps in the upper 20s the deer should be hungry.

For everyone headed out for muzzy, be safe first off and good luck!!!!

I'm on the same page. I have the day off and I'm sitting here thinking about where might be a good spot to dump a bunch of corn and then wait for cold weather to hit.

I've been putting out 5 gallon buckets of corn in NW Ohio in a decent woods, hoping to come into contact with a big boy, first time I have done serious late season hunting outside black powder.

54* sure doesn't feel like late season. I'll be out for the last hour or so if everything goes as planned. I've had a corn pile going at the house, not permitted at my main hunting place. Haven't had a daytime pic in about a month over the corn.

Forecast is showing the kind of weather I'm looking for, 20 degree highs and lows in the teens.

I gave up on the spot behind my house. There's trails and fresh poop back there but they're just not hitting the corn in daylight this year. I've probably been skunked back there a dozen times, which is getting old. Decided to put the blind up before it gets ruined and put the corn on another property.

Weather sure has turned to help us out. I live an hour away from the farm so I won't know what's on my cameras till Friday afternoon. I heard the big ones aren't moving during the day anymore. I figured if it's cold they will get hungry at some point. Let's just hope I'm at the right place at the right time!!! I'm so pumped about this weeked. Just saw a little snow moving in tomorrow! Good luck everyone!!!

I'm going to put another 350 pounds of corn out on Friday at several stands. Based on what I see on my cameras will dictate where I sit saturday morning.

Picked up 6 racks of ribs to smoke on saturday and a buddy is coming in from SC to hunt with us. Goin to be a great weekend I hope!

Are you guys putting corn out in the open or in cover? Just curious!

I'm waiting til next week to put corn out. Im not drawing in a bunch of deer just for a bunch of road hunters to see them back eating before dark during Muzzy season and trespassing to push them out
