Well its pretty late but I figured I'd made one of these. None of you guys know me but I'm 18, live about 20 minutes from Wooster and hunt the Killbuck marsh wildlife area for the most part. I don't have any private land to hunt so I'm limited to public which really isn't that bad. This is my first year hunting anywhere besides one little spot I hunted last year a few times so I'm still learning how to hunt and how the Killbuck area is laid out. Being limited to public has actually been really helpful in teaching me how to hunt as it forces me to get out and check out a lot of different areas to avoid being overrun by other hunters all the time. I haven't been doing much deer hunting since I used my buck tag a couple weeks ago, although I'm hoping I can get a doe down this year too eventually. Two days ago and tonight I went squirrel hunting and shot a few. I love the challenge of shooting those things with a .22. So anyway I'll try to keep this updated as good as I can with my hunting and fishing trips.

Here's my buck from October 20 I believe. It's just a little 6 point but its the first deer that I put myself on so I'm plenty happy with it. Not much fun to throw in the trunk of a Honda though haha

You must be doing something right! Congrats on the first buck! It'll forever be one of your proudest trophies…trust me on that. Do you have any other pics of that rack? Looks like it has some funk around the bases, pretty cool looking. It also looks like it had a lot of meat on it? Did you butcher it yourself?

My old man packed deer in the back of an Eclipse for years, so feel good about that Honda! lol

My first buck traveled home in the trunk of a 87 mustang LX..... Talk about putting 10lbs in a 5lb bag lol

No we took it to the processor after packing it full of ice over night. We had pretty warm temps so I wasn't about to mess around with it lol, if I shoot one later when it's cold I might debone it then take it in but we'll see

Well I went squirrel hunting/scouting tonight and when I went to check my only trail camera it was gone, guess I won't be putting any out on public land again...

Nope not locked so I guess I kinda expected it to happen at some point, luckily it was a cheap one I got at RKO on sale last year. Thieves just piss me off though
