That sucks about Jess... the tear is normal, don't be scared, it'll be alright. Not sure how those things heal the way they do...impressive piece of the body for sure. Lol

I ended up with a new wife after K arrived. Or at least it felt that way. Doc apparently took me serious when I asked for an extra stitch to help me out... lmao

Thanks everyone we appreciate the congratulations and well wishes.

I wanted to give y'all a little update. We brought Lil man home Sunday evening and the first night was hell. He was flat inconsolable from about 11 - 4 am. I stayed up with him to give mom some rest except for a feeding but he just wouldn't sleep. Tuesday night he did better but still had some issues between midnight and 4 am. Last night I put a little radiator heater in his room and put a white noise track on loop, we swaddled him and put him down. He slept for 3.5 hours, fed, and slept for another 3.5 hours. Tit faced and milk wasted.

He's over the weight loss hump and gaining weight. The pediatrician said he looks good and everything is happy and healthy.

Mom is healing from a tear during birth but she's doing great considering she pushed an 8.5 pound kid out of her nether regions.

I'm glad everyone is on track. Good update! Not sure what to say about sleeping, he's about a week early to introduce whiskey. None of our kids slept well the first two years.
