Unless he grows 4s, that deer won't touch 140. Those weak brows are score killers for a main frame 8. He's got the makings to be a hogg next year though. I know the struggle of having great 3.5 year olds in a neighborhood where they're not safe from some of the neighbors. The struggle is real. Good luck!

Would he be your biggest buck? 3.5 is mature enough for me. I think I'd try and put him in the freezer. "First buck on my new property" would score high as hell on my list.

That's unfortunate, I have a good relationship with my neighbors and try to keep it that way. I even show them the bucks I have on trailcam and let them know which deer I will be giving a free pass on. Not saying they won't pull the trigger on one, but it makes them think twice...here is a three year old that's getting a pass this year from me. I have shot my fair share of 3 year olds and have them on the wall, but I have evolved as a hunter and it's more about shooting a mature animal for me.

I see these in the woods here in PA all the time, you can eat these?? I'm not much of a gatherer so excuse the lack of mushroom knowledge lol

Yea these are really good eating mushrooms and pretty easy to identify. If you ever pick any to eat make sure you look up there look a-likes. I think there is one called a jack o lantern mushroom and it looks alot like it.
