Put some thought into your camo pattern based on the specific texture of the environment , use reasonable scent control and most importantly, discipline your self when it comes to movement.
Some of the most enjoyable hunts I have had are ground hunts. With out a doubt, the best are ground hunts in a light rain, still hunting into the wind. You can get away with a plad flannel shirt and a camo ball cap standing still in a dead fall or a jumble of grape vines but get seen lifting your hand to swat a bug away from your face or turning your head to quick where that breaking stick was will get you busted. Look for places where a deer would pause before stepping on like a stream crossing, old fence line or the edge of a field.

I agree with the others. A new blind will stick out to the local deer like a big box in your living room. I have no experience with the ghost blinds.

Camo that matches your environment. Hunt the wind. Sit still or make s l o w movements.
Ground hunting is the ultimate predator.

Best of luck this season!
