Frustrated

Went and checked a spot for sign/ tracks and throw some corn out, the lane which is only to do be used by me and the farmer (property owner) had fresh tire tracks. I get back to the lane which runs through the woods which like 4 different people own strips of (the 3 main hunters all play nice with each other) and I find a camera (high dollar) on my property which I took with farmers permission, a 12 foot buddy tree stand that looked to be very high end and a bullseye blind literally right under the stand, all right on the property line in the stupidest place I have ever seen and every single piece of brush was cut down within 40 yards of this stand. This is the 3rd property this has happened to, just need to vent my frustrations that is all :horse:

Anything on the cam?

A nice buck I believe I passed on earlier in the year and the guys face, which no one can identify! I thought the camera belonged to another hunter I knew and they had just strayed off, when we met up the guy was like "dude thats not my families camera"

Just wait till you find out it was a buddy...deer make people stupid.

I really don't have buddies that hunt this part of the state, whoever this guy is , has bought some high dollar stuff -$100 cuddeback, $300 dollar buddy stand, $100 blind, I think he literally just decided to begin hunting, has permission to hunt 1 little strip in a huge woods. The locals will rob him of all this gear (snowmobile season), the guy i met up with last night have lost a ton of money in gear in this woods, I hunt out of climbers for obvious reasons. I am just trying to preserve this spot and not let it become a community stomping ground which this ass hole runs off every deer in the woods- the 12 foot stand, the blind right under it and placement of the two tell me this guy has no hunting sense.

$100 cams and $100 blinds are "high dollar". Shit. I must be ninja rich... lmao

I actually looked up the camera, I thought it was a more expensive model, its probably a $300 blind and a $300 stand. I put $70 trail cameras 10' up trees in this woods because of the theft. the more and more I think about it, I don't think this guy has a clue about the activity in this woods. It is the largest piece of continuous private woods in Erie County 4 land owners, with the largest owner letting anything go! Recent years, activity has really slowed down and I was basically by myself, this year people must of watched bone collectors more or something.

Locals? You already started the robbing. [emoji23]

I’m confused, dude have permission or not? Or is he literally in the property line or something?

I'm guessing he has permission from someone, but set up cameras, bait piles and tresspassing on my permission and has a actual stand/blind right on the property line shooting onto my permission.

Walbridge oh
I know ignorance is not a excuse but if he's on the line it could be a honest mistake. Guy might be pretty cool if you ever get to talk to him or maybe not lol. Sounds like a crowded spot to hunt.

Yeah I want to talk with him give back his camera and hopefully convince him to set up on the other side of that property away from me.. 2010 through last year the woods were quiet, but this year with all the activity I have seen more deer than ever (this is the 1st time anyone as hunted on top of me). There were a few times this year Id into the lane looked 500 yards down the cut corn field seen guys shooting AR's or riding 4 wheelers, jacked up pick up trucks, etc and just turned around and we somewhere else. I don't mind the pressure, I just would like to keep it from being right on top of me with a slob hunter in a 12 foot stand that sticks out like a hunter in San Francisco
