Free Deer Field Dressing Workshop in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – Outdoors enthusiasts interested in learning how to field dress and butcher a white-tailed deer are encouraged to attend a free informational workshop provided by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018. Trained ODNR Division of Wildlife professionals will cover topics such as field dressing, skinning and butchering deer.

The workshop is from 6-9 p.m. at the Wildlife District One office, located at 1500 Dublin Road, Columbus, 43215. The workshop is free of charge. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Register by calling Derek Klein at 614-644-3925, or email Derek.Klein@dnr.state.oh.us. The course takes place outdoors and is hands-on. Please dress appropriately for the workshop and for the weather.

XENIA, OH – Outdoors enthusiasts interested in learning to field dress and butcher their own white-tailed deer are encouraged to attend a free informational workshop on Tuesday, October 23, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).

The workshop will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Wildlife District Five office, located at 1076 Old Springfield Pike, Xenia 45385. The workshop is free of charge. Pre-registration is required by October 22, as space is limited. Register by calling Gail Cope at 937-372-9261, or email Gail.Cope@dnr.state.oh.us.

Trained professionals from the ODNR Division of Wildlife will cover topics including field dressing, skinning, and butchering. The workshop takes place outdoors and is hands on. Please dress appropriately for the workshop and for the weather.

Free Deer Processing Workshop in Northwest Ohio

FINDLAY, OH – Outdoor enthusiasts interested in learning to field dress and butcher a white-tailed deer are encouraged to attend a free informational workshop on Thursday, October 18, 2018 according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).

The workshop will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fitchville Conservation League Club House located at 2623 Jennings Road, New London 44851. The workshop is free of charge, but preregistration is required by October 16, as space is limited. Interested individuals can register by calling Andrea Altman at 419-429-8321.

Trained professionals from the ODNR Division of Wildlife and Fitchville Conservation League will partner to cover topics including field dressing, skinning, and butchering. This workshop is hands-on and portions will be held outdoors. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the workshop and for the weather.
