Big Holla's Season of Hope!

Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers. He is home now and he is now on oxygen. Could be related to the pneumonia or blood clot but most likely due to him being a life long smoker. Hopefully he can heal fast and get off of that, oxygen brings back too many memories of my mom's struggles this last year.

I was thinking that FB post was about you. I didn't realize it was about your dad. Hope things go well.

Nope, it was for him Kevin, the post was made by his wife and I think tagged me. Thanks for the thoughts on him getting better!!

We made it down this past weekend to see my dad and do a little looking around. He's doing much better and is only on oxygen at night time now. Will be back to the Dr's in a couple weeks to see if the blood clot has gone away yet or not. Definitely sounded and looked good though. Didn't find a single antler while walking around. A few trail camera pics shows most if not all are still carrying, well except for one that clearly had lost his. Will be patient and hopefully make it down real soon again. Also had Blackbeard and his family over for a good walk Saturday. Was just a good visiting weekend all the way around. Here are a few pics...

This is how we usually roll when it comes to getting the family out as well as corn and mineral LOL.

This is a waterfall and cave up one of the cuts that enter the big holla. I can't recall if I have ever walked up to there, only seen it from above in years past. We had 2 deer end up at the bottom of the cut but like I said I don't recall walking up to the head of it like this. Was pretty damn cool.

I did sorta some same things last March with my kids. A property I've hunted for 20+ years and never crawled into some of those cool spots. Spots that just looked cool from a distance but never explored up close. TOO good!
