Thats what they said about the BCS because everyone was tired of the SEC winning seemingly every year. So lets expand the field to 4. Now thats not really working so people are calling for 8. Some people even go so far as to say that the playoffs should include every conference champion. At that point I think it becomes an everybody gets a trophy deal and the trophies should be filled with orange slices and juice boxes.
