Nice. I get the bug all the time, but the fields I have access to haven't been very productive.

Crazy. I've done a lot of walking all over ohio and always keep my eye to the ground. To find two on a single walk tells me there must have been a lot of natives around there, like a statement or camp.

There's alot of Flint chips in the field , and I've found other arrowheads there in the past . I'd say there was a large camp there at one point

I’ve got to spend some time on my place this spring looking. They did some strip mining and skipped a lot of my property because of the terrain. There is a patch of woods on my neighbors property about 200 yards around that they were not allowed to mine because it was a known spot where the native Americans used for smoke signals, as it is the highest point in the area. There is a spring that feeds my pond then overflows to a ravine where it turns into a small stream, so if they were in the area, I know they would have to use the stream for water. I think I’d be wasting my time in the surrounding fields because of the strip mining but the ravine should be a good place to look. I know there are some round rocks that appear to have been carved out to make bowls, or maybe were used to grind grain, on a hillside that I saw while scouting. I’m going to have to go back and get them and post pictures to see what you guys think.

Heck yeah, I'd love to see those. This might be the first year I didnt find a point or tool while deer hunting

I’ve been arguing with myself over this subject lately...not sure I believe it or maybe my history is messed up. Someone educate me this because I don’t think people find arrowheads. I think they’re rocks that just happen to be shaped like arrowheads.

If you've even found or looked at arrowhead close you'd know they aren't naturally occurring .
