Anyone using a bow, during the Gun Season?

I've obtained permission to hunt property that doesn't allow firearms. So, during this weekend's "extended season" I'll be using a bow, instead of a gun.

Has anyone else ran into this situation or just chose to use a bow vs. a gun?

I did it years ago the first day of regular gun season while I was in college. I was literally hunting a land locked 2 acre woods in the middle of the suburbs.

That is how I get permission from landowners who have had bad luck with hunters during gun week. I simply ask for bow permission and only bow. After a few years of that and earning their trust gun permission has been granted to me without even asking on two of 4 property's.

The farm I killed my first deer on was archery only. I hunted it a lot during firearms season back then. I saw a lot of gun-toting trespassers. :)

Back in my younger days (one deer limit as well) I was usually done before gun season came around. Never gun hunted after high school until I was in my 30’s
