Or we go for Kildeer Plains and draw in the NW Ohio crowd, Mansfield and Columbus crowd, and possibly even some of the NE Ohio crowd. . .Then you would be jealous of the northern folks.

Might be at killdeer this afternoon

Pics are the drive in, a bobcat crossing, the ridge view 2.25 miles in to my 4.25 mile walk and me watching a deer run away as I was trying to snap a "big woods selfie".

I had a damn good time today. If we'd have has 3-4 guys, we'd have killed some. I saw 10 deer, had the hammer back on 3 does and missed a big coyote. That spot blows our AEP hunts out of the water. Plenty of deer, great habitat, fun topography and some beautiful scenery. We hunted 200 of the 16K acres, so there's plenty more opportunity down there!

Thanks to everyone who came out. Really enjoyed the fellowship!

Great times with great friends in new country with plenty of game seen, what more could a man ask for in a good hunt.

Nobody had set foot on those hills since there's been snow on the ground. Unlike AEP where we cut more yoder tracks than deer tracks this place was pristine. Judging by the beds and tracks I'd venture to say we got deer up off almost every finger ridge. With 3 pushers and 3 standers covering 200 acres 50% of the group saw deer, 3-4 more standers and we'd still be dragging them out.

Nice meeting you Clay.

Great chili and accoutrements Jesse.

Thanks for the bread Gordo.

Awesome brownies Dan. Get your brake lights checked buddy. 2/3 weren't working.

Still burping mustard!

Just stripped off all my wet layers...could’ve rung my socks out. I’m pretty sure I left my balls stuck to the metal stand I sat in this evening...

Great time as always!

Man! That was good for the soul.

Catching up with good people.

Exploring some fresh ground.

The 20 minute drive was nice also... [emoji23]

Luke appreciatted the hospitality. He's kicking himself in the ass for not smokeing that doe. That dude has had a bad year in terms of not catching breaks.

As always, it was a pleasure shooting the shit with you guys. Life is good.

Glad to hear everyone that made it had a great time.

I'd say now is a good time to delete those coordinates from this thread. Otherwise next year you won't be the first ones in there. [emoji23]
