    Broadheads

Reading another post in the cross bow forum reminded me I've been meaning to ask this question. So I gave my brother-in-law my old bow, Browning Tornado F5 (something like that) 28" draw 60#. And he's been practicing everyday for the past two months. He's never killed a deer only been hunting...

    Turkey Broadheads ?

For those of you who bowhunt turkeys...Do you use your regular broadheads from deer season or do you purchase turkey specific broadheads? If you buy turkey specific broadheads what is the advantage for you? what is the difference between turkey and deer broadheads?

    Broadheads you've kilt deer with.

Since the broadhead selection threads fun I figured why not list what you've killed with.

    Allen brand broadheads?

Has anyone actually used an Allen brand broadhead, for deer hunting? I spotted a 3 pak of these Skybolt XS 100 gr. broadheads with a 1 1/8" cutting diameter, at Walmart for $14.96. They look like a decent broadhead with .027" blade thickness...

    Solid Broadheads

Well boys, I finally received the new heads yesterday, and I'm going to give my honest opinion, so if anyone else has these, let me know what you agree/disagree with. I'll be honest, I was curious, and skeptical, of how they would fly. I've never shelled out this kind of money for 3 heads, but...

    Sharpening Broadheads

How are you going about it this year? We are using the Rada sharpener for our two blade broadheads. Pretty easy to use and it gets em sharp as can be. For our snuffers we are using a file. This does wonders too:pickle:

WTB Any heavy broadheads laying around?

I was wondering if any of you guys have any older broadheads laying around not being used? Looking for something in the 145 grain weight range.

What is your go to broadhead? Since day 1, I've used Rage two-blade, but I bought a pack of 100gr Slick Trick Magnums and a pack of 3-blade Rocket Ultimate Steels. The Rockets got the best rating from crossbowmen.com and I've head great things about the Slick Tricks.
