You ain't kiddin there lmao. Poor guy rattles off numbers and names of deer like people rattle off stats from a ball player lol. Remembers every deer to the 1/8 of an inch too I might add lmao.

Gotta love it though. Guy knows his deer and where they came from that's for sure. If you make it to Strouds and Rex is around you will hear ol Ric, " Hey Mike, You remember that buck " and then the story is on lmao.

That is funny. We love him for it though don't we? lmao

Some guys can give you all the details about their motorcycles, old Chevelle, college basketball stats, or golf game. Ric knows deer.

Lmao My memory is not as good as it use to be but don't let Ron fool ya. Fuggar is just as bad if not worse, we're twins remember!:smiley_bril:

Two things I think I'll never forget are the James Jordan buck killed near Danbury Wisconsin in 1914(that blows me away BTW) scoring 206&1/8, and George Perry's world record largemouth caught using a creek chub weighing a whopping 22lbs.&4oz!!! I like big bass TOO!

This was the first big buck I ever got on cams. It was the first year I had started using them and if it wasn't for them I wouldn't of even known he was around... He later died. I found his sheds on Christmas that year and then found him dead new years day... I also found his sheds from the previous year to these pics later. He was actually bigger that year.

You can tell here in this pic he's hurt...

After shedding one side

The sheds mounted. Buck on right side...

This is his sheds the previous year mounted

What do all three years racks score? The previous years sheds look 240ish,imo

I never had the previous years officially scored. Ed Waite scored the 07 horns at 89 on the right and 92 on the left side. With a 20 inch spread he grossed over 2. The previous year I scored his right side at 102 and left side just about 95. That left beam is one of the neatest horns I've ever found...

All I can say is wow. You guys have some incredible deer on your grounds. My best year with a trail cam was two years ago. I captured my two biggest bucks to date. Both were killed that same year within a mile of where my camera was, on two different properties. Ill have them up in a few minutes. UUGGGhh I have so much to do but its that time of year and I am getting sucked back in to this stuff!!!

Shot during muzzle loader season by neighbor

My favorite cam pic of all time. Big bucks is one thing. Big bucks during the day is another. Beautiful buck and quality picture. This buck was killed by an old guy who could hardly see on the north side of our property during bow season.

So far this summer I have ran two different cams and have only gotten a picture of one two year old buck. Not very encouraging but anything could happen at anytime, that's what keeps me going.

My wife and I just celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary, at dinner that night she asked me...."in the last 3 years what has been the most memorable moment of your life?'' My answer with zero hesitation and 100% honesty, this picture and exact moment. The recovery and harvest of Shorty

You do look very happy but what was her reaction Corey........?lol
Congrats again in closing the book on your quest for Shorty.

Seth(LWNP), that beautiful 6x6 is one of the most symmetrical twelves I've ever seen! Did the hunter lucky enough to harvest him get him scored? If so, do you know what it did score? Looks 180's to me.

Love the other daylight pic of the other stud as well! Good luck this year on their offsprings!

Yep I have the exact number somewhere but I think it grossed around 185 and netted around 183. It's a beautiful rack either way that's for sure!!
