Thanks J, I hope he or his friends stick around for awhile. The big 8pt should be about 4 1/2 this year and about as big as he is going to get I think. Time to go after him and only him this year and take him out. Got the monkey off my back last year with the first one in range lol. Now it's time to get on this guy and see if I can match his moves lol.

I would be on cloud 9 but I ain't holdin my breath either lol. He didn't get that big and live out there this long by being stupid afterall. I can only have the drive to close the distance and this might get me out of bed on those long cold winter days lol.

They should stay around until they drop the velvet and then who knows lol. Seen that big 8 last year until the velvet shed and then POOOOFFF. Gone.

Hope the apple trees keep them there a little longer this year since they actually have apples lol. First time in 3 years they have had any so this should sweeten the pot come fall.

Don't worry Dante. My buck is home where he belongs. Now don't seduce him anymore with those minerals ya got over there lol.

Been too damn hot to check my apple pile. I'll bring you a sack when I give you your trapping stuff back soon. We'll have plenty of 'em come fall.

That would be cool. Maybe you should give them to Dante though. I have 5 trees within 40-100 yards of my stand and he has none on his side of the road and he ain't allowed to snag any of mine since he already tried to lure my buck over there with those minerals lmao

Just glad to see that the big guy is still around. Thought for sure he was the dead buck Dante found awhile back or one that was hit by a car just up the road. Both dead bucks had already dropped antlers so I was worried for a bit lol.

Nothing much on this weeks cam check. The deer are pretty much staying in the corn now and not going past the cams much at the moment. I did get a good one on cam to keep an eye on.
