any rain

Must of rained a little bit last night....never heard. Must not hav been worth anything...We need at least a solid week of rain

The forecast on weatherbug isn't calling for any rain for almost two weeks. OUCH!!!!!

USDA ratings for corn condition declined this week. It's dry over a large area.

Not only am I worried about my plots but my baseball field where the hs and summer team play is burned out. Our infield grass is brown. That's never happened. Please rain!!!

Man, sure wish I could give you guys some of our rain. It's stupid rainy down here. Rained for a week and we've got another 3 days of it by the looks of it. Tropical storms are lame.

Farmers around here are pretty worried about rain as well. It's getting around to losing a bushel per acre per day we don't get rain. Its been a long time since I've seen beans this spotty in the fields. Guys are wanting to replant but don't have any moisture in the ground to do it. My prediction is a really early harvest again like 2 years ago but without the good yields

My agricultural prediction for here is brush hogged corn and crop insurance.

Spent the last couple of days driving 700 miles around the state. After seeing the rest of the state I can't complain about my crops.

I went through Springfield, down there the corn is ready to tassel. By the looks of everything around it's very dry. Tasseling is the worst time for corn to experience hot and dry.

Kind of off topic, but be careful with fireworks. Its that time of year and everything is so damn dry. My dad brought some up to let off after the game last night and we decided against it. Didn't want to risk a brush fire.

We missed getting any rain the last couple of days. We missed the wind many of you guys got and for the I'm thankful. But if rain doesn't come real soon some of the local crops are toast.

Ours had brown extremeties yesterday. Look a lot better today after the inch of rain we got.
