ALL OVER THE MAP.jpg

a bit of a hodge-podge for dinner tonight. we hit all the points on the compass with this one. So I needed to make something with Jasmine rice today because I need leftover Jasmine rice to make squirrel fried rice tomorrow or the next day. Salmon goes good with Jasmine rice. since I'm not grilling in this mess of white shit falling from the sky I opted for oven roasted Dijon/panko crusted salmon. Copper River salmon that has been in the freezer for 6 months and needs eaten. I had half a head of cabbage left over from making vegetable soup on Saturday that needed to be eaten, too. Southern fried cabbage, Thai Jasmine rice, Copper River salmon, and Nancy baked a couple loaves of Italian bread today, too. oddball combination, but it all worked well together. home made fig bars for desert.

Yup, little fawn a buddy got.

I will no longer spend the time to clean little front legs. It was that good. Just rubbed it down with Adobo and cabelas blackened seasoning.

It was petty damn good actually. I was really impressed. I usually clean them and burger them also. I won’t be anymore unless it’s a big deer.

Thanks, it wasn’t just edible, it was something you order in a restaurant.

Ex-GF's kid shot a button buck and we smoked the shoulders whole and they turned out pretty damn good

I made venison meatloaf last night with smashed red taters and peas. About 2 months ago, I stopped cooking K her own meals and we made her start eating whatever we ate. She pounded her plate last night and said the meatloaf (was yummy). First time she's had it or the taters. I about shed a tear. [emoji28]
