Not the best, but I like the gun battle in heat, and the scene in predator, where they level the forest.

Heat was good gun work. Tears of the Sun did a good job. The biggest impact of a gun was Dirty Harrys model 29.

It would have to be more of a top 5 ot top 10 list for me. At least 5 from Clint Eastwood's spaghetti westerns and dirty harry, Some Arnold seines and ofcourse Al and his famous like "say hello to my little friend"

The bank robbery in Heat, the Terminator movies, Predator, Quigley Down Under and Open Range have some excellent gun fight scenes.

However short it may be, I like the scene in Legends of the Fall, where the ranch hand takes a long rifle shot with an old Sharps.

Call me crazy, but the gun scenes in The Matrix were pretty impressive. Maybe not top of all time, but worthy of mentioning.

Boondock Saints when they fall through the ceiling and lay waste as they dangle from the ropes.

I always love Quigly Down Under as well. And Tombstone is my favorite movie of all time!

Heat and Boondock Saints have some bad ass gun moments....

I like The Outlaw Josey Wales... where he blows the dude away with a shotty right through the wall of a building.

And the final gun fight with that great line he says after shooting the bad guy "... never said I diden't know how to use it."

Definitely all good stuff, but don't forget Daniel Day Lewis in "Last of the Mohicans" using his muzzleloader in a number of different fight scenes...some good stuff there

Check out this video at :24, :55, and 1:42
