I TOO started in August but I had to trim about an inch or so. Im planning on keeping it. We will see how the summer sun does.

Tradition has become starting it on my birthday. September 6th is my official deer beard kickoff. Last year I trimmed it along the way. Not this year. Hoping to have a legit beard by late duck season!
