AGREED! I even have a set of small reals that are cut down and the deer just dont respond. But man they come runnin with the ones with full tines. I bust a knuckle on them but oh well

Flex tone has been the best one I have used. Its loud and they really respond to it. I don't remember the modal but its the one the bone collectors use.
