After we walked up to where we shot it/ I shot it. I let him find it. Pretty funny his eyes light up like an xmas tree. Immediately he wanted to go show his mom.

So we headed out. we were walking and I heard something so I told him to stop. About five seconds later out pops a doe about ten yards broadside a o us looking at us.
I say look theirs a deer. He sees it and says shoot it dad. Sorta made me smile. So I look at the deer then look back at him and he's holding the squirrel up swinging it back and forth on o show the deer he says. It took off like a bat out of hell of course.
Needless to say. It was a great day. I explained to him why I didn't shoot the deer. I've told him about the seasons and such. Lots to learn just glad to have the chance to actually be with him in the woods.

Never much cares given to the Homecoming Court in the past. But, last night my nephew was crowned Homecoming King at Orange. Roughly 2000 kids in the school (I'm told), so I'm guessing 500 ish in his class. Pretty cool. Proud uncle moment. Attached picture of Jack and my sister.
