It aint no joke... This is why i'm flyin solo this week in Kansas.. Dumbass didn't wear a harness.. 7 hours of surgery..

I checked a stand I was gonna hang cable was rusted almost in to if I wouldn't of caught it I would of ended up on the ground. Check your equipment also.

I'm done with fuggin trees. Still never killed one out of a stand anyways. The view ain't worth it

I bought lifelines this year. My 3 & 5 year old are my life and it isnt worth it. They were like $25 @ menards.
Lifelines and harnesses are a small price to pay compared to your life. If you can't afford them then you can't afford to hunt out of a tree. I've mentioned it here before but I have several extra harnesses that aren't being used. If anyone doesn't have one please let me know and I'll gladly send one to you free of charge. Thanks for sharing this!

Nearly always wear my harness. Slowly adding lifelines to my sets. Might be time to do some research. Wonder what price we could get on a TOO group buy for lifelines?
you can get 3 packs for $62.00 at sportsman's guide, that is pretty cheap. I put them on all my stands now.
That's a helluva deal. Field and Stream is having a one day sale today and they have them for $28.98 each

I use'em on all my stands. I always wear a harness, and stayed connected to the tree at all times. Only time I don't is when using the linemans belt to initially hang the stand.
