Second half adjustments sure made a difference. I caught pieces of the first half on the radio. Last part of 2nd quarter on TV.

I think we expect too much out of the Buckeyes at times. We expect a perfect season and every game to be perfect. Buckeye fans are hard on the team. Not all. But many. In this game. . . .I think the Buckeyes deserved their verbal beatings for the first half. Come out at number 2, with more experience than last year, we shouldn't be this sloppy in 1st half.

I know they are a second half team but it doesn't make it any less frustrating. I'll take the win and give them the second half of the game. They played well those last two quarters. I wish they would've let that Rookie Dobbins score a TD for his efforts today.

I have alot of comments about the game today but that was an issue to me. That boy deserved to score a TD. He was the only thing that impressed me about the offense.

Ya'll need to relax a little. Urban is a proven coach. Mistakes are gonna be made. Look at what it will be when those mistakes are brought down to a minimum.
GO BUCKS!

I watched most of the first half. Thought sticking my cock in my wife would be more fun than watching the second half.

So that's what I did.

I agree that JT is no better than he was all last year especially the Clem game. He threw two intermediate passes that were taken to the house due to our receivers out running a lesser opponent(mean no disrespect toward IU but they aren't Bama quality.), IMO
I question the QB coach or even UM as to WHO is not addressing JT's issue of TELEGRAPHING his throws and his QB draw play?!?!?! Cripes!!! He's a 3 year starter that's been given the key to the car regardless how pathetic he plays so someone on the coaching staff has to see this after view game film if we as fans see it in live action! SMH

The defensive secondary will get picked apart if our coaches are teaching them how to face guard opponents now! That was stupid and embarrassing....gonna be a 6-6 season if they don't address their problems. Quality teams with equal talent or better will whip their asses!

I will say JT threw one good deep ball that Paris Campbell wiffed on but I saw more poor decision passes than good ones...pretty much the same as last year.:smiley_blackeye:

This is why i hate preseason rankings especially when it comes to OSU. #3 FSU played a hell of a game against #1 Alabama but lost. And #2 OSU played like an absolute shit show against a totally unranked team. But yet FSU who clearly played a way better game and is more talented will fall in the rankings and OSU will remain in the number 2 slot. Looks like the bucks will once again benefit from coming in overranked and playing a cupcake.

Yep, totally agree!!!
Even if a SEC or ACC team loses, they should maintain their ranking. Or even better, move up if they lose against an ACC or SEC opponent.
Good, sound logic.
I watched the game. Neither team impressed me.

Even if they dropped FSU one position that would move up USC who barely beat cupcake unranked western Michigan. That ain't right. USC shouldn't be rewarded for barely beating an unranked cupcake while FSU is punished for losing to number 1 bama. The next team to even play a ranked team was number 11 Michigan who played number 17 Florida that just suspended 10 players. And then you have OSU who IMO played a far shittier game against an unranked indiana that FSU played against bama, and they will sit in the number 2 slot due to being overranked coming in then playing a cupcake.

Some have said before and I agree with them that everyone should be unranked until after game 3, then computer rank them based on performance and strength of opponents.

I wouldn't be surprised if Indian surprised some people and sneaks into the top 25 by mid season. They're a solid team and always seem to give us a run for our money. We will see what OSU truely has to offer next weekend when the Sooners come to town. Also I'd like to see Penn State move up in the rankings. Sure they played a nobody too, but they're gonna be the Big 10 champ I'd say.

I would agree. I havn't looked to see who all penn lost from last season but they looked good.

FSU had a tough team that reminded me a lot of clemson last year but not as polished. Too bad Francios is likely done for the season. If they could have pulled it together a bit more as season progressed i would have bet they would be in the playoffs. Without the QB though they're done for.

Making sure most know that of the 10 suspended Florida players, 2 were starters and basically the rest were freshmen who at best might have played on kickoff. If not for 2 pick 6's, Florida should have lost about 49-3. in don't care if Florida had Tim Tebow and Emmitt Smith back their, they were gonna stop Michigans Defense

I agree with Joe on rankings. They shouldn't be put out until after week 6. That would give everybody at least a couple non conference and conference games under their belt

IMO, Penn State may have been the luckiest team ever last year. They mastered the "Chuck and Luck" offense last year, where McSorely basically heaved up 50/50 balls and his recievers came down with right around 75% of them. They have the best RB in the country, IMO. Not solf on the rest of their team or their coach
