Just got in from the garage. Turned a red mallee burl/wenge two piece striker. It didn't turn out the way I'd hoped, my fault. Still sounds good though. Also turned and sanded an ash bat for big Mike, really pleased with how that turned out!

Here's that red mellee burl/wenge two piece. That wenge is a bitch to turn, wants to splinter like beat hell. Ended up having to take more off the peg than I wanted, which resulted in a skinnier peg. This thing just doesn't fit my big hand, would probably be nice for a normal size person lol. Sounds good though. One piece padauk, purple heart, and zebrawood strikers will be coming in the near future
