Little update on my 11' Ram with the 800 torque rating. It runs fine and reacts like a gas motor. Taken some getting used to with how quite it runs. All in all, I'm happy with it. My only complaint would be fuel mileage. Then again, it's a 2500 TRUCK, so it's not a complaint by me. Averaging 14'ish mpg, bone stock. Not sure I'd suggest it for a DD like you are looking for. I know they get way better mpg when you delete and tune them. But my prior experience has me scared to death to touch the damn thing. [emoji23]

You might want to make this a priority for a couple of reasons.

Texas floods are going to flood the market with buyers very soon.

A few months from now the market will be flooded with flooded vehicles.

A "deal" is going to be hard to come by here shortly.

My shopping is over. Been hunting for a crew cab for the last 6-12 months as the boys are getting older. Was really trying to get into a 6.7... but at the end of the day just didn't fit into the budget as comfortably as I would have liked. I found this 2006 Lariat 6.0 down in Marysville at a Chrysler dealership. 101k miles and the carfax was 3 pages long. 2 owner out of South Carolina. Original owner was anal and had it in for checks every 2k miles or so. Super clean and no rust. I got a heck of a price on it... so if I have to "bulletproof" it due to head gaskets down the road I won't bitch too much about it. The difference towing the camper is night and day, will definitely stay in a diesel as long as we own a camper. Getting 12-13mpg towing, 14-16mixed city and highway, and did a 100 mile or so stretch on the interstate and got right around 19.5. I did end up putting an SCTx4 tuner on it for a little extra HP when towing. Helped the gas mileage as well.
