I took a few pics of New Orleans but I didn't do the city any justice lol. For one to truly appreciate it would take at least a solid week. So much to see and learn. The history and architecture is amazing.

I'll post a few more when I get home but here are a few for now.
It really is a beautiful city. Were there street performers playing jazz? A lot of them left after Katrina and didn't return. Hopefully some took it up or came back because it isn't nawlens without them.

Great pics Joe! That's a nice array of fish! Those Stone fish camouflage so well I couldn't even see it in the photo! rotflmao

I finally did find it but DANG! It's no wonder they get stepped on!
Most venomous fish in the ocean with a neurotoxin similar to that of a copperhead.

My favorite are the trunkfish. They are usually black and brown but when messed with they turn diferent colors depending on their surroundings.

We did see some street performers playing all kinds of different styles. Only seen a couple actually playing jazz. Most played home made drums.

Any of you guys ever been to sturgis. My uncle and cousins are going this year and me and my wife were thinking about going them. My aunt's sister lives there so no cost for hotel or camping. Just not sure if I wanna go this year or next.

We finally got around to booking the hotels for our summer trip. Driving out to Colorado for the first week of July.
Going to spend a few days around Colorado Springs and a few in the Boulder/Estes Park area.
Planning on hitting Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, Garden of the Gods, and RMNP. And I guess there is one hell of a water park in Denver.
Let me know if there are any other must dos in those areas!

Yea I am looking forward to something other than the ocean for once.....
Went there for family vacation back in the 3rd grade, but pretty much don't remember much.
One thing I do remember was a sign on the middle of the Royal Gorge Bridge which said 'No fishing from bridge'.

My sister lives right in that area. She's always talking about bands playing in some valley. Some sort of natural theater. They also do a church that starts when the sun comes up. If either of those grabs your attention, I can get details. I know her and their family love it.

Sure! Shoot me a text or IM and I'll see if we can make it happen!

And my job does not allow me to enjoy the grennery.... :smiley_depressive:
