We are heading to Ft. Myers in mid March. I was planning to book a charter for the kids. Does anyone have any experience with any charters there, good or bad? Thanks.

Not sure of any names anymore but you could also look at Pine Island and Cape Coral for possible charter boats. Cape Coral is across the Caloosahatchee River from Ft. Myers. Pine Island is west of Cape Coral in the Gulf of Mexico.
The Pine Island Sound is great for Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Seatrout, Shark and many smaller fish.

Look forward to the pictures!

BTW- Lake Okeechobee, inland has some of the best Bass fishing between here and there. 6# bass are common and 8-10# can be a religious experience if all you ever fished were farm ponds like me before going there. lol

Interestingly, some of the websites I've visited say absolutely no cell phones. I'm sure this is related to GPS coordinates of their fishing spots, but that really sucks.

This is the only thing I've come across so far.
