Still 84* outside and feels like 90*...as everyone in my house is under a blanket besides me! Bunch of spoiled asses...about time to go scrape the nasty off my body.

Been a while...loving these temps! I feel for the folks in Texas though. Not having FB anymore I haven't seen much myself, but I hear it's bad. News said 2' of rain! We could use a splash here, grass is crispy.

I dunno about you guys, but I can tell there's a difference coming to the woods. We have some maples that start loosing their leaves @ the end of July. I swear one of 'em are halfway down, the yard underneath it is littered with leaves. I walked up to the cabin behind the house earlier today & there was a deer . I decided to walk on up further where I have a mineral block & you could just tell & start seeing a difference in the woods. Happens this time every year.

We've got a tournament up on Lake Erie at Presque Isle in Erie Pa and looks like the rain will be moving in Saturday evening and Sunday morning.... Hopefully it won't be too bad..

We got pounded this morning with storms and a shit ton of rain. Its still doin it now.

We really needed it. I planted radish-turnips on 8-16 and checked yesterday and only some is up 1/4" and bone dry. This should help. I only hope the turkeys left me some of the tiny seeds. Will know next week.

We finally got a good soaking last night in the NW part of the state. While the plots have been coming up, I checked the soil while setting up my ground blind and the soil was rock hard several inches down and cracking in some spots. I am hoping to put some nitrogen down once the soil softens up to sweeten up the offerings.

I put a hoody on this morning and just took it off before dinner. Never really opened up, sorta drizzle rained all day. The wind has been a different story.
